New endeavor to help support the Ministry
Use unique aerial perspectives to market your properties.
Differentiate yourself from the competition! We provide photographs and video from the ground up. The equipment we use can obtain the shots you need from small lots to ranch size properties. If you need images of a property that encompass hundreds of acres you may wish to hire an airplane. We don't rely on balloons that can be hard to get into certain locations and currently there is a problem with the shortage of helium.
The equipment we use can get into areas to get the shots that are needed and be done quickly with the professional quality you expect. You can use these aerial pictures and video in everything from Real Estate to amazing video of your big event. Aerial photography from aircraft is expensive. We can provide close-up shots rather than just photographs looking straight down such as satellites and aircraft for far less than the cost of traditional aerial photography.
•Give your listings extraordinarily awesome views
•Offer elevated views to sellers to gain a competitive advantage
•Redeem older listings with professional shots and unique angles
•Prints can make great appreciation gifts for sellers or new owners
•Great for large lots, lakeside properties, commercial areas, golf courses
•Capture hill property to show everything you cannot see from the ground
Would you like to show a neighborhood from a better view than you can get from satellite imaging?
We can help!

Zambia 2013 Outreach • Mission Trip
Please pray as I pray about returning
to Zambia after 28 years. I will be traveling with Dr. Joan Hust or
as I call her: Mom.
Many changes of course have taken place in the short time we have been away. We would like to minister to all we come into contact with especially the leadership of the Church’s and ministries that were in Joan's ministry, from Club House, Bible College, radio to the ministry trips she planned and used as tools to minister to many people during her time there.
Zambia, like all of that part of the
world is extremely beautiful, and has many people with a heart for
God serving HIM. Being able to come and show that there are those
around the world who care and encouraging them can be a great
blessing for not only them but yourself as well. Their way of life
and their testimony can change your heart and your testimony can help
them.
Zambia is predominantly Christian that
includes the Seventh-day Adventist, The Church of Latter-day Saints
and Jehovah's Witness. Pray that God's Word can touch every heart and
that all may see Him in the light and strive to serve Him in
everything. Pray that the walls that separate them from Jesus will be
broken down and that His love will flow like the oceans across the
land. Pray that those who have given their life to Jesus will be
strengthened to overcome all the hardships and temptations that come
their way. Pray that God will bless Zambia and its people.
Please pray for the support I need to make this trip.
I plan to do video work so everyone can
hear what is going on in Zambia and that the testimony of those
living and working in Zambia can touch those around the world with
God's love.
If you think ministering to those
outside of your city and country is not right then you are not called
overseas but to minister to those next door and around your town. So
get out there and show God's love no matter where you are. Let people
around you see God's love at work in your life and don't forget to
invite your neighbors over for dinner every few months so that they
can see HIM in you.
If you don't think you are called to
minister to your neighbor then I am sorry to say you must be
rejecting His call to go. Don't let fear stop you from greeting
someone or stop you from showing God's love.
He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.” Mark 16:15-18
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20
If you have a heart from God to minister to those in Zambia and would like to be a part of this outreach please contact Jacob for further information.

Choose to Love as Christ Loves you!
Loving deeply from the heart, this is more than just acknowledging and saying we love. It is the true, pure love that God has given us, that should be pouring fourth from our hearts onto our brothers. Love is the bond that we as Christians are to have with each other. It binds us together it overcomes the world; it is the light of Jesus shining through us. We can stand firm even in the worst of times, God has NEVER stopped loving us or loved us any less. He loves and cares for us even when we mess up and wind up on the worlds path.
Remember, His love covers all. Just as our love is to be extended even to those in sin. Love the sinner, hate the sin. The Lord has never, and will never give up on us, therefore if this is His way, then we to should act in this manner and NEVER give up on others. For just as we have been forgiven and purified by Jesus, the other person, who may be in sin at the moment, can be redeemed and forgiven, and made pure by the blood of Jesus. This includes the sinner who has done something that we would say is the worst sin we could think of, but of course using the worlds standards. For God, sin, is sin, none bigger or lesser in offence to Him. Sin is anything contrary to Him. Once a person who has sinned repents and turns from his or her sinful ways, they are made pure and holy in God's sight, and He will remember the sin no more.
Never run from a sinner unless they are trying to get you to sin or join them in sin. The world is watching our actions and reactions to everything. They are expecting us to be forgiving and loving as Christ showed us. When we do not respond or act in the way that they feel Jesus would, and then they will criticize what we did or didn't do. Then in their mind they confirm that this is why they do not want to be a Christian.
I have seen more non-Christians that are far more forgiving and loving than many who profess to be "Christians". What kind of witness are you? What kind of witness to the world do you desire to be?
To be a TRUE CHRISTIAN, you MUST have love in your life, the same living love that Christ gives us. This love must flow from your life, flow like Christ's love flows out to us. For without this love we do not know Him. God is love!
"And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."

Is life not quite real at times?
Prayer is talking to God. It is how we communicate with our creator. Sin cut us off from God; it is through Jesus Christ we are given access to Him again.
To know God’s Will in our life we NEED to have an active prayer life. If we don’t, then we will never know what God’s Will for our life is. Don’t try to give an excuse that God will not answer your prayer. For if you do not trust His Word you are not truly a Christian.
“In that day you will no longer ask me anything. I tell you the truth, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.” JOHN 16:23-24So the question we may have is what type of things do we pray for, what should we be praying for. I need to point out that we need to have God’s true love flowing through us, we need to be in His Word, reading it and placing it in our hearts, we need to place His ways in our hearts, we need to first ask for His forgiveness, in this way we do not come before Him with sin in our hearts. God’s Word shows us many a promise that should encourage us to be bold and to have faith in our prayers.
“I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.” JOHN 14:12-14

Use God's Love in your ministry and life
As we look to God’s Word, we see that the love we are to have is not something He recommends or suggests for us to have or give. The love He has for us to give is a love we have been commanded to do. If we are commanded, then we can see that this pure love we are to love with and show must be an action that we MUST do. It is something we can learn to do. It is a change in our life, in our way of thinking, one that
will affect our total being, our fundamental nature of our entire life, how we act, speak, and respond to situations around us. God has given us a COMMAND, an instruction that MUST be obeyed, a mandate. If the love God COMMANDED us to have was an emotional love as the world really sees the definition, then we would never be able to do as commanded, as we would not be able to love at all times as instructed, but only as we felt like.
Without pure love, love as defined by God's Word, we can have no relationship with God. Without His pure love in its fullest meaning, we are going to find ourselves lost in this world of sin.
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these." MARK 12:30-31

Ask the Lord • HE provides
We need to know what God's Word tells us on how to live our lives and walk His walk, keeping in touch at all times with the Holy Spirits guiding. This way we will know what His Will is for us, and we will then be able to make the good and right decisions that serve and glorify our Lord, no matter what situation we may find ourselves in. If you lack anything, from faith to food, just ask our Lord, He will give you all you need.
"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." MATTHEW 7:7

Media to share the love of Christ
Over the years years presentations have changed for media. The younger generation are use to short commercials that give them the information they want. It is no longer just a bunch of stills or text that make an impact.
It is through video and through the internet that can now make a huge difference to the younger generations.
Though I am free and belong to no man, I make myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law. To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God’s law but am under Christ’s law), so as to win those not having the law. To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings. 1 Corinthians 9:19-23

Code of Ethics for Ministry News
We
put no stumbling block in anyone’s path, so that our ministry will
not be discredited. (2 Corinthians 6:3)
Whatever
happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of
Christ. (Philippians 1:27)
All
who are called by God to the ministry of the gospel solemnly commit
to a life of joyful obedience and selfless service in order to
glorify God and enrich his people. Therefore, a minister will:
Pursue Integrity
I
know, my God, that you test the heart and are pleased with integrity.
All
these things I have given willingly and with honest intent. (1
Chronicles 29:17)
•
in
personal character.
Exalt
Christ, not self. Be honest, not exaggerating or over-promising;
peace-loving, not contentious; patient, not volatile; diligent, not
slothful. Avoid and, when necessary, report conflicts of interest and
seek counsel.
•
in
personal care.
Care
for the spiritual, mental, emotional and physical dimensions of your
person, for “your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit” (1
Corinthians 6:19).
•
in
preaching and teaching.
Interpret
the Bible accurately and apply it discerningly: “In your teaching
show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot be
condemned” (Titus 2:7-8). Speak the truth in love. Give due credit
when using the words or ideas of others.
Be Trustworthy
It
is required that those who have been given a trust must prove
faithful. (1 Corinthians 4:2)
•
in
leadership.
Model
the trustworthiness of God in leadership to encourage and develop
trustworthiness in others. Use power and influence prudently and
humbly. Foster loyalty. Demonstrate a commitment to the well-being of
the entire congregation. Keep promises. Respond sensitively and
appropriately to ministry requests and needs: “Whoever can be
trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever
is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much”
(Luke 16:10).
•
with
information.
Guard
confidences carefully. Inform a person in advance, if possible, when
an admission is about to be made that might legally require the
disclosure of that information. Communicate truthfully and discreetly
when asked about individuals with destructive or sinful behavior
patterns. Tell the truth, or remain discreetly silent: “A gossip
betrays a confidence, but a trustworthy person keeps a secret”
(Proverbs 11:13).
•
with
resources.
Be
honest and prudent in regard to personal and ministry resources.
Refuse gifts that could compromise ministry. Ensure that all
designated gifts are used for their intended purpose: “If you have
not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you
with true riches?” (Luke 16:11).
Seek Purity
Don’t
let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example
for the believers
in
speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. (1 Timothy 4:12)
•
in
maintaining sexual purity.
Avoid
sinful sexual behavior and inappropriate involvement. Resist
temptation: “Among you there must not be even a hint of sexual
immorality” (Ephesians 5:3a).
•
in
spiritual formation.
Earnestly
seek the help of the Holy Spirit for guidance and spiritual growth.
Be faithful to maintain a heart of devotion to the Lord. Be
consistent and intentional in prayer and scriptural study: “Take
captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ” (2 Corinthians
10:5).
•
in
theology.
Study
the Bible regularly and carefully to understand its message, and
embrace biblical doctrine. In forming theology, consider biblical
teaching authoritative over all other sources.
•
in
professional practice.
Identify
a minister/counselor who can provide personal counseling and advice
when needed. Develop an awareness of personal needs and
vulnerabilities. Avoid taking advantage of the vulnerabilities of
others through exploitation or manipulation. Address the misconduct
of another clergy member directly or, if necessary, through
appropriate persons to whom that member of the clergy may be
accountable.
Embrace Accountability
Be
shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over
them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God
wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; not
lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the
flock. (1 Peter 5:2-3)
•
in
finances.
Promote
accepted accounting practices and regular audits. Ensure that
ministry funds are used for their intended ministry purposes.
•
in
ministry responsibilities.
Ensure
clarity in authority structures, decision-making procedures, position
descriptions, and grievance policies. Model accountability at the
highest organizational levels.
•
in
a denomination or a ministry organization.
Ensure
compliance with ministry standards and expectations, including
regular reports.
Facilitate Fairness
Believers
in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ must not show favoritism. Suppose a
man comes into your meeting wearing a gold ring and fine clothes, and
a poor man in filthy old clothes also comes in. If you show special
attention to the man wearing fine clothes and say, “Here’s a good
seat for you,” but say to the poor man, “You stand there” or
“Sit on the floor by my feet,” have you not discriminated among
yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts? (James 2:1-4)
•
with
staff.
Follow
approved ministry practices in staff selection processes. Advocate
for equitable pay and benefits for staff. Provide regular staff team
building, affirmation, training, evaluation, and feedback. Be honest
with staff regarding areas to celebrate as well as those needing
improvement.
•
with
parishioners.
Ensure
appropriate access to staff by parishioners. Preach and teach to meet
the needs of the entire ministry. Assume responsibility for ministry
health. When asked for help beyond personal competence, refer others
to those with requisite expertise.
•
with
the community.
Build
God’s Kingdom in cooperation, not competition, with other local
ministries. Provide Christian ministries to the public as possible.
Encourage good citizenship.
•
with
a prior ministry.
Do
not recruit from a previous ministry without permission. Avoid
interfering in the ministry of a previous organization.
As
a minister of the gospel, I commit to abide by the standards set
forth.

A book by me • Road to Heaven
I
wrote Road to Heaven during one of the roughest times in my life in
an attempt to see if I was wrong about what I consider basic
Christian principles.
I
find that Christians seem to pick and choose what we call basics of
our Christian life. We forget that we are to follow all the ways God
has given us. God gave us HIS Son Jesus who should be our example on
how we live and act. So in a small attempt to cover the overall
basics of what I feel a Christian should be trying to live like I
came up with the principles that the Bible has given us in this book.
It
is far from a complete guide. This is more of a pointer to get
everyone reading scripture and doing what we are taught by God.
My
prayer is that after reading this book your heart will have a new
desire to serve God and live in every way we are given to live by our
Lord and Savior

My first hunting trip in Africa
This is me some time ago |
One of the great trips
I was able to go on in Zambia as a kid was a hunting trip with my friend Neal
Greyling and his dad.
We started out early in
the morning and drove most of the day. First we were on paved roads then dirt
roads, and finally two tracks. We finally arrived at a village where Neal's dad
spent two hours bargaining with the chief over the hunting rights, what he
would get when we returned and some camp help and a tracker.
Then we drove on into
the bush. No roads. After a few hours of this driving we arrived at our camp.
Not that it was set up or anything. It
became our camp after a bit of work setting up tents and other luxuries you
don't find in the middle of the bush including
a wooden box with a hole cut into it with a toilet seat mounted on top. The
African bush is very beautiful despite the many dangers. No words can describe
it. You really have to take a trip out there and feel, hear and see it all.
Sunsets and sunrises can be extremely colorful, from purple to oranges and reds
mixing together to form such art you would think you are in some luxury
paradise. Boy, was I spoiled as a kid to be able to grow up in such a great
place.
Animals were scarce and
it took some effort before we found some wildlife. Neal's dad managed to shoot one. The order of
the hunt was tracker until we visually saw the animals then Neal's dad took the
lead followed by Neal since he had hunted before, (it was my first trip), then
myself backed up by the tracker who I think was actually behind me to make sure
I didn't mess up. When Neal's dad took a step we all stepped at the same time
to try and keep the sound to a minimum. We walked like this for quite a ways
since we first had to put a huge ant hill between us and the animals. We wound
up going up the ant hill and Neal's dad had a kill-shot in one round. There was
no good way for Neal or myself to get a bead on any others without spooking
them so we wound up not even trying for more as they were gone in seconds.
We then left the
tracker with the animal to fend off any lions or scavengers and went and drove
the truck out to get the animal back to camp where the help butchered it.
Everything is used except for what was inside the intestines. We made a lot of biltong which is
delicious. It is like making beef jerky
in America.
We spent a few days and
found nothing else moving anywhere, not even lions or hyenas. Neal practiced
driving his dad’s truck and backed into a tree and dented a custom made thick
steel bumper. His dad was not happy; Neal and I spent the rest of the day further
from camp as not to have to deal with it. We also spent hours at camp just
target practicing for our last day there shooting trees.
Neal's dad said we had
been there for a week. In fact we hadn't however none of us wore a watch and he
was the boss so we packed up for the trip home. It was on the way back we found
a warthog and again Neal's dad shot him.
Neal and I were hoping
we would roll the truck so we would be stuck in the bush. Shortly after we get
back home we knew we had to head off to boarding school and figured being stuck
in the bush we could miss a few days of school. This never happened.
So after returning the
helpers to their village we drove home. Our
parents showed Neal's dad the newspaper for that day. He thought everyone was playing
a joke on him since we had come back two days early.
I heard Neal’s dad
talking to my parents saying that Neal and I never had a drop of water on our
skin during the whole trip. I still can’t
figure out what he was talking about as I drank lots of water during the
hunting trip.

Honda 50 • Zambia adventures • growing up
When I was five years old I wound up
having major surgery on my leg. When I left the hospital my mom had
a Honda 50, the one with the folding handlebars, waiting for me. At
that point in my life I did not know how to ride a bicycle.
Shortly after this my parents moved to Africa where they brought the Honda 50 with them in their suitcase.
It wasn't until I was six or seven years old that
my brother showed me how to ride the motorbike. What fun that was to
be able to ride through the bush going places that as a kid you would
have never gone by yourself. Shortly after this my parents moved to Africa where they brought the Honda 50 with them in their suitcase.
I wound up driving through a rebel army camp and back. I think my parents had a heart attack or two.
The Lord sure protected me as a kid.
So thank God for His ever watchful eye on us as we go about our lives. HE is faithful.
